I highly recomend reading this from Jeff Sadow. It will explain the request for 250 billion by the Gov. or whoever in La.

I said:
Jeff,
Thank you for articulating this point so clearly. I am just a taxpayer in another state. This PC world had me thinking that no one would speak up against these requests for "aid" but it is nice for someone from LA to put it in perspective. The loss on a human level is a tragedy and humans need to help. The boondoggle at the bureaucratic level should not be excacerbated by folks that are S.O.S. (stuck on Stupid)

If you hear someone trying marginalize you by trying to call you a right-wing conspiricy nut have them take a look at what the crazee left(wrong)wing nuts are upto.

John Blake said here............>"Let 'em march. And at day's end, may they and all they stand for be seen for what it is: Profoundly vicious, radically anti-peace and prosperity, dangerous only to the extent that we ignore it or perversely refuse to call it by its name."

Someone is having a fit over this add.

Now of course I am a guy and do not have a problem with this add but c'mon there are adds that sell stuff that are funny and offensive to some. I just don't think this one is too awefully bad. If the link for the add gives you problems just check out the NHL home page.

When compassion does not light the fire that it should.

Armed citizens, they argue, are far less likely to be massacred than defenseless ones

I would think that genocide itself would cause the correct response but apparently not.

I am embarassed to say how much information is on this site that I did not know. But I am happy to point you to a folk tale there that while a little simple halfway through. It has a very clever twist at the end.
Oh and it explains why we have deserts too.

Maj. Bill Cowling says here..

"I look back to where we were a couple of hundred years ago, writing the Constitution. Maybe it's a little bit like that."

I hope I don"t post too much of this article but i do suggest reading the whole thing.

The second group of thieves are profit-driven, generally seeking Google AdSense revenue. They publish as many blogs as possible populated with lifted content, and sit back to collect commission checks from Google on ad clicks. Some have created automated programs that suck up content from around the Web and post it without need for a human editor.

Think about that for a second... to lazy to cut at paste manually. To twist Don King..."Only in the Blogosphere!"

You know they keep saying there is enough blame to go around but.. c'mon if the Mayor and the Govenor fail you hope the troops have planned ahead.

".....this is the United States of America, the biggest superpower. Why can't this effort get convoys of aircraft to just send the supplies down?"

GOURE: Unless you're going to drop the palates from 10 or 20,000 feet on the heads of these poor people, you have to get it to an area near the disaster zone and then bring it in by truck or helicopter.

The commercial airfields even the military airfields were all covered with debris initially. You have to in fact, put all your resources far enough away from the path of the hurricane that they wouldn't become victims themselves and the Guard and the FEMA have said this.

In case anyone is a fan of the show RockstarINXS here is an opinion what it takes to be a frontman

websters"?" definition of a frontman..... should be able to sing fairly well.{done} command attention{done...heck people are reading and posting to your blog} while onstage should on occasion cause the audience to wonder (with a little fear) what is going to happen next because you have surrpassed all expectations of singing and attention getting so in the rock star climax of an original song strike what looks like a pose(forget Madona) and everyone will be taken with you on the emotional ride because it is not a pose it is authentic rock and roll {DONE}rock on dude

That was directed to the dude named Marty .... check out the video on rockstar.msn.com
