Extremists and martyrs and homicide bombers are real. But for us to think that the hate preached by some dooms all muslims to a life without democrocy is narrow minded. I didn't dream that position up but after I got there I found some great statements on Democrocy and Islam.

The most interesting thing about this post to me is not the suprising headline but the age of the bomber.

Well I guess it is a good thing we had that little thing called the Revolutionary War. Look at what happened to the Indians. Umm not the Indians here in North America I am sure they would have a different opinion.

This post is about something being taken out of context so in an effort not post something out of context I will encourage you to read and follow the post found here.

check out the irony here:
(first Liberman accused Dean of being Anti-Semite, although Dean’s wife and kids are Jewish).

of course we will not forget sept 11, we also must not forget the price we need to pay to stay free. sometime we need to be reminded of what this evil looks like that we are fighting.

this is so bad it is almost funny. these are grown people going about the democratic process of voting. this is a process that people are fighting for in Iraq and people at home turn it into this

ya know it is a big world and the more i know the more i want to know. but ocasionally i am reminded of how small the part i know is, or how narrow my point of view is. as i learn more about the anglican church because of a news story that i wish wasn't happening i found out that the us and england may be minor players in this:

Africa is now home to more than half the world's Anglicans. Uganda, a country about the size of Oregon, has 8 million believers. Nigerian Archbishop Peter Akinola heads the largest Anglican province in the world with some 17 million parishioners. By contrast, the Episcopal Church, the US branch of the Anglican Communion, which has lost half its membership in recent decades, has just over 2 million members.

Instapundit points out a post on software filters, which can be usefull but the fact that they are required in someplaces should mean that there needs to be some kind of ......"controls on the control"

I do not want anyone telling me or my children what to look at on the web. I know what is out there and I will take care of the filtering.
